we wanted to tell you all about our favourite trends of the moment...

1. jorts

a longline style of shorts that hits between the lower half of the thigh and just past the knee. they were orignally just denim shorts but now they've widened to most material of longline shorts. jorts are everywhere at the moment, even on the runway. at gucci resort 23' they were bedazzled and paired with a button-up, a black jacket, and black boots. for max mara pre-fall 2022, a dark-wash iteration was paired with a button-up and a light jacket. ann demeulemeester, coach, louis vuitton and denim maestro ksenia schnaider all showed jorts for spring 2022. the spring 2023 runways were ridden with them too: at louis vuitton with tailored or matching tops,givenchy, with tight mock necks, fendi with crisp button-ups, and natasha zinko with flashy jackets. shop our wide selection of jorts here.

2. lace tops

ever the versatile fabric, lace is cropping up as a trend this summer; from paco rabanne to dion lee, designers are making the case for sheer dressing in 2023. this season, as ever, lace is back. all of the pinterest instagram girlies have been using lace as a layering accessory. we have the perfect lace top for you, called 'the belle', it's the perfect flattering v-neck top with just the right amount of support.

3. football tops

the shirts you see on match day have gone beyond the stadiumhe, they’re now on instagram, on the backs of influencers. football shirts are fast becoming a fashion holy grail. these football shirts are also part of a bigger trend called 'blokecore', the blokecore trend is used to describe a particular aesthetic mood where the look is composed of a football shirt, jeans, and sneakers, or just a generally 'boyish' outfit. you can shop our range of football tops here. we also have more on our depop.

4. cargo trousers (especially when styled to be capris)

cargo pants are the look of choice of the summer with baggy legs, long hems, and maximum pocket space. while the trend has definite early '00s roots it has seemingly lived on. we've loved seeing how people style them from our shop, below mia has ruched them up at the bottom to create a capri style trouser, which is so on trend right now...shop our cargos here

5. bandeau tops

tiny tops always find their way back into the fashion cycle when the weather starts to get warm. It was one of the '90s' biggest trends and made its way back during the late 2010s and even the 2020s. the bandeau top is circling back around. although it may look like a small strip of fabric, this top is incredibly fashion-forward. brands like jaquemus, skims, and prada are all jumping in on the trend. our top 'the sofia' is the perfect summer bandeau.
